Craving a cozy vegan brunch? This bacon, egg, and cheese quiche brings together crispy Thrilling Foods Bakon, a rich tofu-based egg filling seasoned with kala namak for that unmistakable eggy flavor, and gooey vegan cheese — all tucked into a flaky, golden pie crust. It’s a high-protein, plant-based spin on the brunch classic that’s ready in about an hour, no eggs or dairy required.
The real MVP here is Healthier Comforts’ animal-free egg white protein powder. Made by The EVERY Company using precision fermentation, it’s the exact same egg white protein you’d get from a chicken egg, just grown without the chicken, so it whips, binds, and sets like the real thing in everything from omelets to meringue. It’s cholesterol-free, dairy-free, non-GMO, and protein-dense at roughly 9g of protein for about 40 calories per serving, making this quiche a legit high-protein, egg-free breakfast.

Bacon, Egg & Cheese Quiche
Ingredients
Equipment
Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Place the frozen pie crust on a baking sheet so it’s easy to move in and out of the oven.
- Crumble the Thrilling Foods Bakon and pan-fry over medium heat until crisped up.
- In a food processor, add the tofu, egg white powder, water, miso paste, nutritional yeast, cornstarch, salt, kala namak, black pepper, and turmeric. Blend until smooth and well combined.
- Remove the blade and stir in the crisped bacon and vegan shredded cheese with a spatula.
- Pour 2/3 of the mixture into the prepared pie crust and smooth the filling down evenly.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until set and lightly golden.
- Let the quiche cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Cooling helps it fully set. Serve with salsa and hashbrowns.
